A full commercial renovation of a waterfront restaurant, taken from bare shell through to a room ready to serve.
Restoration work goes wrong when drying is treated as the whole job. Here the source was found and stopped first, then saturated drywall, insulation and flooring were removed and the structure dried down and monitored rather than assumed.
Affected material was treated and removed rather than sealed in behind new board. Because the same contractor handled the rebuild, the drywall, trim, flooring and paint went back with no gap between the restoration crew finishing and the finishing trades starting.
